A lively and entertaining romp that exudes intrigue and scandal, is in need of a reader who can appreciate a fast-paced and witty story, the particulars of which include a successful merchant who in need of assistance, a lowly scribbler of questionable moral character, and a pair of ill-suited lovebirds who are on the run and headed into a most inadvisable marriage, with nary a chaperone in sight!

Any reader who feels they are up to this task must be prepared to read all of the sordid details of this delightfully disreputable story, including the lurid particulars of a shocking romance between the aforementioned merchant and scribbler. And while you may be left slightly breathless as their relationship moves from animosity to respect to passion, the course of true love never did run smooth. You will be privy to the heinous injustice perpetrated on not one but TWO unsuspecting characters – a cowardly deed that threatens the very essence of the lovers relationship.
