Ok let me set the scene for you…I typically do not read exerts for the next book but something caught my eye when finishing book 7 and it was that the boys were adding a third. To say I was beside myself with worry about how this was going to affect their dynamic and the circumstances to bring it about would be an understatement. I spent a good portion of my visit with El bemusing the fact that if this book RUINED this series for me I would be writing a long, displeased review. As we saw sights and crossed bridges I laid out all my concerns for different scenarios that could cause me both panic and alarm. Usually when I get these ARCs I’ve read it before El even has the chance to tell me the ARC has been sent to my kindle. This time…I waited…a whole week…squinting at it with disdain every time I saw it on my kindle (it should be noted I am overly dramatic by nature).

When I finally brought myself to read the novella it was actually surprising how much it made sense with where Daniel and Ryan are in their relationship. I think what pleased me the most was it comes about quite naturally and is something Daniel actually wants. I had worried that it was too early for the two to open their relationship up to others but what we get isn’t that. Daniel wants someone to see him making Ryan proud. He doesn’t want to share Ryan, which all made sense to me. I also had worried about who the third would be and once Daniel introduced him I was completely on board with how everything went down. As always, the sexy times were yummy. I’m still waiting for the two to actually solidify (thanks to the Bachelor that is my most hated word) their romantic relationship but for now I’m comfortable with how things are progressing.

I’ll obviously be reading the 9th book….

Tamryn studied English and Creative Writing in school but has been writing since she could first hold a pencil. Recently, she’s turned her focus towards writing erotica. She enjoys writing stories where sex comes first, then feelings, because doing things out of order can be fun.

Tamryn has spent the past few months writing the Daniel and Ryan series with a lovely view of mountains out her window, and she’s now searching for a new mountain range to serve as her backdrop as she begins her next project.

    • Sadly I have no idea. I looked around for the authors website or some other SM but there’s nothing. I had heard these were originally Supernatural fanfic, which I can confirm because I was sent them by a reader because they’ve since been pulled. That ended at 7 which we are already past. I agree with you about waiting for the entire series to be released first, that’s typically how I like to read shorts BUT she does seem to have been consistently releasing one a month.
