Rich Cody joined the U.S. Marshals to hunt down bad guys, not babysit witnesses. Orders are orders, though, and now he’s protecting a hacker with ties to the Albanian and Sicilian mobs. It’s just another exciting day in WITSEC.
Leotrim Nicolosi was born into a world of crime and bloodshed. When that bloodshed hits too close to home, taking down Leo’s boyfriend—the son of a notorious mob boss—Leo is determined to destroy the Grimaldi family. He’s got evidence that will send every last Grimaldi to prison, he’s got the family’s wealth in an electronic chokehold, and he’s got a vendetta that can only be settled with the blood of the man who killed his lover.
When a routine transfer to a safehouse goes horribly wrong, Rich and Leo narrowly escape with their lives. With the Marshals compromised and Leo being framed for murder, he and Rich are on the run from criminals and law enforcement alike. They have no one to trust except each other, and nowhere to go that their enemies can’t reach.
And the only way out might mean making a deal with the Devil.

THIS BOOK WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
Okay, I know I’m a few days late as this came out a few days ago, but I’ve been sick. I’m actually still sick, so give me a pass, would you? It’s hard to use the brain muscle when you’re drugged up on cold meds and you just want to sleep all day. ANYWAY…
THIS BOOK WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
I know, repetitive, but you guys, it really is a lot of fun. Double or Nothing is a fast paced adventure in mobsters, marshals, feds, ex-military friends who live in old missile silos, and just some of the hottest sex ever to hit the pages, paper or digital. And from what I could find, this is a stand alone so far, but dudes, if there is not a follow up book, I’m not sure what I’ll do. Pester the authors? Possibly. (YES) Write to my Congressmen? (Probs not) I just know I want another book and I want it now!
Rich’s adventure in protecting his witness, Leo, is really cool. Protecting Leo is a hard job, particularly when you don’t know who you can trust. And Leo’s adventure in being protected and actually having some of the best ideas in how to go about that, and basically being the best partner in this endeavor, was fab. But it’s even more because the story is huge, and it’s also written really well and concise, so while things move quickly and it’s all this fastpaceomgwhatjusthappendomg… the story is strong and easy to follow along. Side characters are interesting and have meaning for being there. The relationship that starts as protector/protectee, turns to reluctant friends, to finding something so much more and YOU GUYS, I really liked it a lot… maybe you can tell. Situations are sometimes a little over the top, but not so much that I was rolling my eyes. Nope. I only rolled my eyes when I got to the end and was like, OMG NO THIS CAN NOT BE THE END! I mean, the end does not actually solve all the problems they have so there has to be more coming.
So, in closing…Double or Nothing is suspense, action, fun filled romance reading that I really can’t tell you much about because that would just spoil the ride. What I want to tell you is to just pick up the book, read it, and join me in politely bugging the authors to please give us a follow up, and please do it now. Or you know, quickly. I’m down to beg and use bribery because I really want it that bad.
She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
