Just Love Romance turns 1 today! It’s been a fantastic year, and I’m so proud of how much the blog has grown. Today JLR has seven amazing reviewers and posts daily to help readers find new books to buy!
So before we get to the good stuff (which is to say, the cake and presents!), I want to do a quick Oscar Acceptance speech and thank a bunch of people. Ready? *deep breath*
Thank you to Rafa, DMac, Kristie, Rita, Mel, and Gillian for being the best darned reviewers a girl could hope to have. You are all fabulous and I’m thankful every day that you agreed to come review on JLR! What else do I have to bribe you with to get you to stay? Thank you also to Daniela at Books to Get Lost In and Molly at Molly Lolly for being great friends and amazing reviewers I can look up to! And thank you to the amazing community of authors, readers, and publishers who have supported JLR, offered advice and kind words, and been so kind that I never once felt unwelcome as a blogger and reviewer. I owe you all cake (and wine!) the next time we meet up!
Okay, now the part you’ve been waiting for. PRESENTS!
I’m going to pull a Hobbit here and do a reverse birthday. That’s right, instead of you giving me presents, I’m going to give away some awesome prizes! Ebooks, audio books, and paperbacks galore! Among the many prizes are:
Paperback books by J.A. Rock and Lisa Henry, Mary Calmes, Shira Anthony, Cardeno C., B.A. Tortuga, Karen Stivali, and more!
eBooks of your choice… I’m giving away FIVE of them, you choose any LGBTQ+ romance you want! (Amazon or ARe)
Two audiobooks of your choice from the Audible.com Gay & Lesbian section!
Want to win? It’s super easy. Click on the tasty cupcake below. Enter some information. Tweet and comment for extra chances to win. BAM, DONE.
Edited 5/29: The giveaway has now ended! Thank you so much to everyone who dropped by to wish us a Happy Birthday, and here’s to another great year (and many more) for JLR. You can click the image below to check if you won; all emails have now been sent to winners.
(Blah blah blah Giveaway Rules: I will only ship paperbacks to US addresses, but eBooks and audiobooks are open to anyone worldwide! Come back and enter daily for more chances to win… and yes, you can win more than once! And because all good things must come to an end, the giveaway ends on Saturday, May 28 at 11:59pm EST.)
Thank you again to everyone who’s helped Just Love Romance grow over the last year! I can’t wait to see what’s coming in the year to come! (Spoiler: it’s going to be awesome.)
yayyyyyy congrats!

Happy birthday, JLR!!! I’m super glad to have found this wonderful blog.
I legit like most cake flavours. As long as there’s icing and/or fruits, I’ll love it. 🙂

I'm so happy to be reviewing for you. I feel we're all such a good match. I love it here – but I always do take bribes 😉 I love what you've done with the site, that you not only review M/M and work hard for more diversity. And I really think the site is so pretty – that is important!
Good luck to everyone who enters the giveaway.
To the next year! Cheers 🙂

Wait, hold up. This blog is only a year old? Based on the quality of the reviews alone I thought it was at least 4-5 years old. ^___^ Just shows how professional you are.

I used to think that Carrot Cake was gross because it was “healthy”… but now I know better! Mmmh, so delicious. And yes, agreed, raisins are EVIL!
